I teach backend development to women who are getting into tech. Most of them are new to code, so I start from the basics and build up to real, working projects.
We cover how APIs work, how to model data, how to talk to a database, and how to put a project online so other people can use it. I keep the sessions practical. Students leave each class with something they built, not just notes.
Teaching keeps me sharp. When you have to explain why something works, you understand it better yourself.
