Kuve is an informal market built for Africans, with AI running underneath it. The informal market is how a lot of Africa buys and sells every day, so the goal was to take that online without losing what makes it work.
I built the frontend. I took the designs and turned them into a fast, clean app, and I paid attention to how it behaves on cheap phones and slow networks, because that is what most of our users have.
I worked closely with design so what shipped matched the idea, and I kept the app simple enough that a first time user could find their way around without help.
