BLSC puts Nigerian teaching in front of students living abroad. A lot of Nigerians in the diaspora want their children to learn the way they did back home, and BLSC connects them to that. I spent more than a year building the web and mobile side of it.
I worked across the whole stack. I built the interfaces students and tutors use, wrote the backends behind them, and connected the two. On top of that I worked as a drone engineer for the team, which pulled me into hardware and a very different kind of problem.
Doing software and drones at the same time taught me to switch between very different problems fast and stay calm when something breaks in a way I have never seen before. This is where I grew the most.
