The Bridge is the program The Afara Initiative runs, and it is one of the most respected leadership and entrepreneurship programs in Nigeria. It takes only about 5% of the people who apply from universities across the country, so getting in is hard.
As a fellow I work on leadership, entrepreneurship, and solving real problems alongside other people who were picked the same way. The room is full of people who actually build things, which pushes me to think bigger about what I work on and why.
It is less about a certificate and more about the people and the way it changes how you think. That part stays with you.
